Upgrade from 8.2.10 to 9.0.8

Can I auto upgrade from 8.2.10 to 9.0.8 inside my owncloud current installation. I recently upgraded from 8.2.9 to 8.2.10, but now it shows another upgrade is required to upgrade from 8.2.10 to 9.0.8.

The new updates where enabled a few hours ago for the updater app:

It might work if you use the updater app to jump from 8.2.10 to 9.0.8 but you're still encouraged to do backups before.
