Upgrade Owncloud From 8.2.11 to 10

Hello,

May I ask about how i can upgrade my owncloud version from version 8.2.11 to new version 10. can I upgrade without Fresh install.

And If using fresh install how we can move the user and the data perfectly.

Thanks.

https://doc.owncloud.org/server/latest/admin_manual/release_notes.html#changes-in-10-0-3 has noted "It is now possible to directly upgrade from 8.2.11 to 10.0.3 in a single upgrade process"

Hi Tom.

Thank for your information. i will try that.

Hi there,

on what platform can I do that?

Old system: Debian 7 stable, Apache 2.2, PHP 5.4, MySQL 5.5.58, Redis
New System: Debian 9 stable, Apache 2.4, PHP 7.0, MySQL 5.6.30, Redis

Can I move Owncloud 8.2.11 from old to new system and upgrade there to Owncloud 10.0.3?

Or may occur any problems when moving Owncloud 8.2.11 to new system?

The newest version of owncloud does not support Debian 9 (why???) officially, but I know that it works.
But does Owncloud 8.2.11 work on it, too?
