Upgrade to OwnCloud 10.0.6

upgrade
10

#1

Hi,

I am new to this. I have installed OwnCloud 10.0.3 on raspberry pi (raspbian os). I was still playing a little with it since I have a timeout problem. then it started to ask me to upgrade OwnCloud to 10.0.6. I thought I will give it a try maybe it will also fix my problem.

My problem was that I could not figure out how to upgrade it. I need to use the manual mode since I don't have an ssl certificate. I found this manual: ownCloud 10.0.6 Server Administration Manual, but since I am new to this could not follow the instructions.

Is there a step by step instruction on how to upgrade owncloud on raspbian?

thanks in advance

Hi, how did you install ownCloud in the first place?

Hi,

I have followed this guide (https://www.avoiderrors.net/owncloud-10-raspberry-pi-3-raspbian-stretch/), which was very good and explained the best possible way. for me it was easy enough to follow and managed to install owncloud.

Okay, I can't see this site - adblock detection.

Did you install ownCloud from packages? Then you can upgrade ownCloud from packages.

If you used the tar ball - in the ownCloud documentation is described how to upgrade. This is the safe way.

I cannot even manage to put OwnCloud to maintenance mode by using this command: sudo -u www-data php occ maintenance:mode --on

I am getting this error:
Could not open input file: occ

do you have any idea of what could be the problem?

Are you executing this command in your owncloud folder? for example /var/www/owncloud ?
