Upload and sync all files

Hello everyone I’m new to the forum, so I apologize in advance for any errors. I have an older Mint 19.3 PC, so I installed ownCloud 10.3.2.2. From what I understand, it works as it should, uploading new photos and videos. But the question is, is it possible to upload photos and videos from before the installation? I’ve tried other Android apps, but I haven’t found one that uploads everything, except foldersync, which stops at files smaller than 250 MB. If there’s a solution, I’d be very interested. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Tac! Welcome to central! :waving_hand: Thanks for opening a new thread in the Android section!

If you’re referring to uploading photos and videos that were stored on the device before the app was installed using the automatic uploads feature, this isn’t possible. Once the app is installed, you can select a folder for automatic uploads, but it will only detect and upload files added after the feature is enabled.

Exactly. I don’t understand why a cloud app uploads files from a certain date onward but doesn’t upload previous files. However, I imagine other people have found another Android app that uploads all files to owncloud, as expected. Can you recommend this app? I tried FolderSync, but it has a 250 MB limit. Thanks
