Could you please tell me why is that my OwnCloud doesn't have the option to upload folders?

Hello, to upload folders , you could use drag-and-drop from your computer to your owncloud directly.

I tried that but it only creates the folder. Files inside the folders are not uploaded....
Folder upload is still not supported in all browsers. Which one are you using? Did you try newest Firefox?
Yes I have but I read that only Chrome was supported. I'll try with new Firefox as soon as I get home.
ownCloud can't rely on browser-specific behaviour because it will be confusing for the users. If you need to upload whole folders, try using the desktop client because it will work more reliable.
