I’m trying to do something, anything, that even vaguely approximates links/shortcuts/having-a-file-in-two-places-but-still-only-being-one-file. Or even directories. I know that symlinks are not supported.
As an alternative, is there a file type that ownCloud recognises as a followable hyperlink, so I could store this kind of file containing a link to the target document within the same ownCloud system? It would be brittle, but if the targets don’t move, it’d do.
For example this page describes both url file types (not supported on Linux) and html ones with built-in redirects, but neither work here.
