Where can I find owncloud 8.2 debian package?

Hello,

There's no debian package in repository https://download.owncloud.org/download/repositories/8.2/owncloud/
Where can I find one ? Thanks by advance.

Hello, for older versions , please see here : https://owncloud.org/download/older-versions/

Yes I did. For 8.2 repository, it list the link I pasted in OP. there's no package in https://download.owncloud.org/download/repositories/8.2/owncloud/

how can i contact persons in charge of this repository ?

Hi, I’m also looking for those packages.

  • owncloud.org/download/older-versions/ directs to opensuse (dot) org for 8.1.12 and earlier, which has the files.
  • for 9.0.11 and later, it directs to download (dot) owncloud (dot) org which also has the files.
  • for 8.2.11, it directs to download (dot) owncloud (dot) org which redirects to attic (dot) owncloud (dot) com which ends in an error: “Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /org/download/repositories/8.2/Debian_8.0/ on this server.”

And google doesn’t seem to find the debs anywhere either.

Is it just a permissions problem on attic.owncloud.com?
Would anybody have a copy of the files available?

Thanks in advance!
Philippe

While I am not the person responsible for it, I will ask around.

Any luck on that front?

Otherwise I guess the course of action would be to get that version in another format (tarball for 8.2.11 seems available), analyze what the upgrade script is doing, and fake the operations by hand.
I’m specially concerned about the calendar data which seems to have changed.
Does this seem a viable option?

Here is the 8.2.10 tar ball. You can perform an update with it

http://download.owncloud.com/repositories/8.2.10/Debian_8.0/owncloud_8.2.10.orig.tar.gz

Thank you very much!
I derived the url to add to my apt sources.list the repository with the debian packages, and the upgrade seems to have gone just fine:
deb http://download.owncloud.com/repositories/8.2.10/Debian_8.0/ /
Now moving on to 9 and 10.

Hey,

from what i have read in the past its possible since quite some time that you could upgrade from 8.2.10 to 10.1.1 directly.

Wasn’t fully sure, and after going all the way from v6 I was ready!
Thanks for the tip!

Yes, it works for me too
