Microsoft announced the new Windows 10 S recently. It is specifically targeted at students and will probably only run software from the windows store.
Does someone know if will be able to run the desktop client there? Or can I only use owncloud with a web-browser?

I've just opened an issue on https://github.com/owncloud/client/issues/5801 to discuss how to offer a solution for Microsoft Store installations; we might try a client build based on https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/bridges/desktop to see if it can be integrated without much pain
