Windows Desktop Client won't finish install

Expected behaviour

install from desktop client

Actual behaviour

install hangs on extract sync-exclude.lst

Steps to reproduce

  1. click on install
  2. allow extract

Server configuration

Operating system:

Web server:

Database:

PHP version:

ownCloud version:

Storage backend (external storage):

Client configuration

Client version: 2.4.1

Operating system: windows 7 ultimate

OS language: English

Qt version used by client package (Linux only, see also Settings dialog):

Maybe the installer doesn't have all required permissions to write this file?

Wrong, it hangs on vcredistx64.exe . Are you sure you don't have any prompt waiting in the background?
