MacOS Mojave - Sync overlay icons missing

Expected behaviour

Synced files should have sync overlay icons Dropbox-like and OneDrive-like and maybe some contextual menu entry as well

Actual behaviour

No overlay icons and/or contextual menu in finder

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Client App for Mac (2.5.0)
  2. Syncronize with server
  3. Make sure finder integration is enabled
  4. Check the icons missing
  5. Restart Mac
  6. Check the icons missing

Server configuration

Operating system:
VMWare Ubuntu 18.10

Web server:
Apache2

Database:
MariaDB/MySql

PHP version:
7.2

ownCloud version:
10.0.10

Storage backend (external storage):
CIFS mounted share

Client configuration

Client version:
2.5.0

Operating system:
MacOS 10.14 (Mojave)

OS language:
Italian

Qt version used by client package (Linux only, see also Settings dialog):

Installation path of client:

Local synch path filesystem:
HFS+J

Logs

In console App while

  1. Starting ownCloud App:
    Unable to load Info.plist exceptions (eGPUOverrides)
    Scheduling the NSURLDownload loader is no longer supported.

  2. Selecting Local Synchronization Path:
    RETURNING UnknownFS PLACEHOLDER: < private >
    errors encountered while discovering extensions: Error Domain=PlugInKit Code=13 “query cancelled” UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=query cancelled}

The problem is fixed.
Here is our latest release candidate of the new client if you don’t want to wait for the final release.
