Server Packages for Linux?

The packages available from https://download.owncloud.org/download/repositories/stable/owncloud/ are still on 10.0.4, even though 10.0.7 was already released with important fixes.

Could you please take care on updating these packages in time?

It is totally fancy to have a docker container for oC up to date, but not everybody is an experienced admin as you say on https://owncloud.org/download/#owncloud-server-linux-packages and wants to maintain a docker stack just for a few PHP files running owncloud.

Are the package spec files available somewhere in public, so that people can maintain their own packages in OBS?

Please look at least at the last 10-20 post if they are similar to yours before asking a question that has been answered already

Thanks Dmitry,

unfortunately I do not see an answer to my questions in the post you mentioned, it just says "we release packages somewhen later, after we put out the tarballs". As soon as there is a critical fix in a release this is not ok any more, and that can easily happen, right?

Well, of course you guys may choose to do so, but in this case I'd like to come back to the second question in my first post: Are your package spec files available somewhere in public, so that people can maintain their own packages in OBS? Is that also answered somewhere else?

not that I know of.

After testing, yes.

If you really need that fix, you can always upgrade using the tar balls, no?

I understand that you may have some issues with the current version and you want the newest one because it fixes the problem you are having. But without intensive testing ownCloud cant assure you that you won't having other issues in the long run. Please understand this.
