Update troubles using the updater

Steps to reproduce
1. On version 9
2. Click update
3. Results e e

Expected behaviour
Tell us what should happen
Should update and remove snag screen up at top.
Actual behaviour
Tell us what happens instead
Look above at the error

Web server:Apache
Database:SQL

ownCloud version (see ownCloud admin page): 9
Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install:

Integrity status for oC9+

Login as admin user into your ownCloud and access
http://example.com/index.php/settings/integrity/failed
No errors have been found.
paste the results here.

Threre is no problem right now, but is there a current document that would tell us how to upgrade to the latest version using the updater, which really never works.

Have a look at [1] which contains infos about that. In general its always recommended to not use the updater app (which is known to be broken since years) and just do a manual update / upgrade (see doc.owncloud.org). With that you're on the safe side and you're mostly won't face any issues during updates and upgrades.
