Updates between multiple major versions and downgrades are unsupported.
On every major upgrade it is recommended to do a full upgrade by deleting all files and folders within your installation directory except /data/ and /config/ and then extract the new code into this installation directory. There are some issues with the web updater. If you encounter them, you can look here for the patch: Patches for known update issues from versions 10.0.0-10.0.2 (updated on June, 13)
Adding local external storage is disabled by default, for security reasons.
Can't add local external storage, option not available
There is a workaround in the central thread; you should only enable it if sysadmin and owncloud admin are the same person on you system.
Copy-pasting a link for sharing doesn’t work with the Safari browser.

Owncloud 10.0.0 Local external storage missing
Fix: was turned off due to security reasons, you can turn it on in the config.php.
Upgrade doesn’t work because Calendar app can’t be disabled.

Fix: turn it off before the update or anytime with
occ app:disable calendar
With maintenance mode on and client 2.3.x, sometimes files got deleted on clientside.
Fix is available via github.
When upgrading to 10.0.0, sometimes the calendar app broke.
The problem is solved with 10.0.1.
The “old” CalDAV and CardDAV URLs have not been working and clients which used them stopped working: https://github.com/owncloud/core/issues/27778
This is fixed with 10.0.1.
